The Arkan Road Sereniteers
So, Karen and I have been having a blast coming up with Kefas and Serao. I think most people will be able to figure out who is controlling which character (guesses?) Do you guys have an idea what kind of troubles on the road you'd like to see?

Premises
Most of these ideas could work as either a short episode or worked up into something longer. I might be a bit disappointed if all the ideas in this thread turned into single chapter posts...my personal preference would be to see your favorite few taken and worked up into at least 6-12 chapter arcs, maybe a bit more if they overlap or the story starts writing itself.
* Kef's childhood friend (still current friend?) is in too dark a grey area for Ser
* On further thought...any premise (with a few tweaks) from Law and Order, Walker Texas Ranger, Renegade (episode guides here, and Season 1 for only $14. Dang, that brings back memories. Hmm...
Well, anyway. I'm no scriptwriter but a pair like this seems well suited to a lot of existing tropes - they fall right into the straight cop/goofy cop shtick. There's nothing in particular I'm looking for, but there's a wealth of opportunities.
Followup, since I can't edit
If the goal is to encourage audience participation, maybe you could write it a bit like a "choose your own adventure" book. Each chapter ends with two (or three) choices. It could be binary stuff like "pull the lever or don't pull the lever", or it could control whole plot threads like "Head back to town to turn the prisoner over to the county jail, or keep after the rest of his gang". "Respond to the urgent request for help or answer the boss's firm summons" Something that the readers have to think about, and can vote on. The poll would stay up until the next episode started being written (weekly?

I Disagree
=/ I don't like that idea. These are the two authors who write things I never could have _imagined_ loving so much!

I'm actually gonna say Karen
I'm actually gonna say Karen was writing Serao and Shirley wrote Kefas, probably because I'm used to Yeoli=Karen and Arkan=Shirley from reading all three Fifth Mil weblits simultaneously.
I would love to see Kef & Ser have to deal with some Yeoli troublemakers on the road - maybe ones that are lording their conqueror status over the locals - just to see Ser squirm for a change. I love 'em both.
Could be interesting
Kef: "I see your upstanding, never-do-wrong people were at it again."
Ser: "It's because of the corrupting influence of *your* people."
Well, what the heck, if Chevenga has to deal with the Yeoli hawks, why not?
Oo,oo, I know!
How about squatters? Displaced okas or refugee former slaves could set up an 'unofficial village' on someone else's land. This would be tough for Serao, because she would be conflicted about rousting such harmless folk....but it's against the LAW!
Ooh, I like
You might have noticed I'm into moral dilemmas. We'll see what Shirley says.
Guessing
I'm guessing Karen wrote Kefas and your wrote Serao. =)
They should run into... a Scooby Doo like situation where everyone is convinced there is some supernatural menace that turns out to be a weak, but clever villain's prank. I think it would be fun to see the scenario in this setting!

"And we would have got away with it too
...if it weren't for those meddling Sereniteers!"
More guesses re who wrote whom?
(Note: this is really Karen.)
